EXPLORER TEST RESULTS

wE HAVE RECEIVED OUR EXPLORER TEST RESULTS FROM THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT AND ARE VERY EXCITED, ONCE AGAIN, BY OUR STUDENT SUCCESS.  THE EXPLORE TEST IS GIVEN TO ALL 8TH GRADERS IN SHASTA COUNTY AND THE INDIVDUAL RESULTS ARE USED FOR HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT.  oUR 8TH GRADE STUDENTS OUTSCORED THE COMPETITION IN EVERY CATEGORY!

shoes for children in honduras

for the next few weeks we will be accepting donations of gently used light weight shoes and new toothbrushes to send to school children in honduras.
Mark Bailey will be making a trip to honduras in may and heard
that the children cannot attend school unless they have shoes.
so we are looking for lighter weight shoes that can be packed for airline travel, such as sneakers and sandals.
you can bring donations to the school office by april 30th.

pizza meal fundraiser

On monday april 26th we have a minimum day because of teachers inservice. so we have decided to go ahead and take the opportunity to raise some funds for our last day of school party.  look for information coming home soon about ordering the pizza meal. it will be priced @ $3 for a slice of pizza and a drink, and an extra $1.50 an additional slice
